I grew up on a small traditional farm in the Wicklow hills where my childhood was spent in close contact with nature. Initially I studied science and followed a career in Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare, but after some time I found myself drawn back to a more natural approach to promoting health and wellbeing. This led me to train in a range of holistic therapies and set up my own therapy practice.
In 1997 I set up Absolute Tranquility and now for more than 20 years I have been providing a range of individual holistic treatments from my therapy clinic in Ballinteer Dublin 16.
Alongside my therapy clinic I also provide a range of on-site treatments to the corporate sector, in the greater Dublin area. I hold professional qualifications, and post graduate training, in the following therapies:
I also hold professional Insurance for all of the above therapies
I am a member of the Irish Reflexologists Institute, and have held several positions on its committee, as well as being a founding member of FICTA (the Federation of Irish Complementary Therapies Association).
My work as a Holistic therapist has been featured by:
TV3, Irish Times, Irish Tattler, RTE Radio 2 (The Gerry Ryan Show), and for a number of years I wrote the regular monthly health column for the Superquinn Magazine
